Face the Problem and solve it | Self Improvement Step 1

Sometimes or at some stage of life this happened to everyone that we have to take critical decision of but we hesitate to do so or even hesitate to think about it. It happens and for self improvement we must face the problem and take tough decisions. When runs away attitude becomes tendency and habit it becomes biggest obstacle in path of self improvement. Some people have tendency to run away from problem or not take decisions.

Let’s take example of Mr. X. Mr. X foreseen critical financial situation in future because stock market is down and share he invested are down and it is worsening day by day and Mr. X perfectly aware of it. But instead of taking concrete action in advance or explore other options Mr. X has habit of run away from problem. He just doesn’t think about it. He just takes it as usual and life is going on with following probabilities.

Saving would be dried.
Credit card companies would refuse to give credit
Car would be sold

Above are just some probability but Mr. X is getting anxious day by day and smoking more Cigarettes day by day but never take concrete decision or even think about possibility of become bankrupt because he just has too much fear of at least thinking about it. Instead of fight he just chooses to flight so his problem gets bigger every day.

Mr. A have tendency of avoid job interviews because he had failed one or two times So Mr. A just choose to avoid job interviews because of deep fear of getting failed again. So Mr. A just sits back on home or doing trivial jobs which don’t required extensive interviews. When his wife give him some good leads from newspaper about proper job he just ignore it or just be too seek on day of interview. Fear of failing again is become so deep rooted in Mr. A he just doesn’t want to try again.

Moral of example is instead of thinking about problem, Mr. X just trying to avoid it, so problem would get bigger. Instead of make plan A and Plan B Mr. X just sit back and just doesn’t think about worst and best possibilities. This is worst kind of situation and we must understand that fear of worst is always bigger that actual worst. When we understand this it would be first step in direction of self improvement

If we keep cool mind in adverse situation (yes it is tough but not impossible) and explore other possibilities and options then we can lower the affect of adverse situation and believe me you can able to dig some good from even worst situation or even turn around situation for your better. We should behave like a lion and face the problem and sort it out instead of run away like rabbit. Keep in mind there will be no miracle going to happen if you choose to run away from problem. Just your condition will spoil more. Note that your effort for self improvement will help you in future and make your mind fear free
