Depression --> Different Stages and Coping Steps

Above are perfect conditions for normal person like you and I to felt depression and sadness but you must know that when to seek professional help and medication or when to just divert mind to some other thought or explore change in attitude like mentioned in my essay 71 Golden Rules to Manage Stress and Self Improvement.

Is it means 71 Golden rules and change in attitude is no use? So please note that 71 Golden Rules are time tested principles and they are time less and class in itself  and anything cure you from depression completely then they are.

My point here is let’s take example of death of spouse for XYZ. So what happens to XYZ? He or she would be broke down. This is perfectly natural for any mortal soul. Now we will see stages.

  • For  first 1 or 2 weeks XYZ would be felt very depressed
  • From 3 to 4 weeks XYZ may regain some control on his or her emotions after reading some inspirational book or my essay 71 Golden Rules to Manage Stress and Self Improvement.
  • XYZ understand that person should be neutral in good and bad condition and happiness and sadness are not physical condition but state of mind
  • After month XYZ would be again track on life and life must be go on

Now let’s take example of ABC

  • For  first 1 or 2 weeks ABC would be felt very depressed
  • From 3 to 4 weeks ABC  may felt more depressed and complete broke down
  • After one month of tragic death of spouse ABC felt life have no use and have left no interest in day to day activity

Now what ABC may have done after 3 or 4 week of death of spouse?  He might be read some inspirational book or my essay 71 Golden Rules to Manage Stress and Self Improvement. These are very good if he do and understand that person should be neutral in good and bad condition and happiness and sadness are not physical condition but stat of life. But this is not possible for everyone to change his or her belief in short period of time and it is ongoing process so  even ABC know truth in 71 Golden rules he can’t able to get rid of thoughts of death of spouse and feel sadness completely. So he will be obsessive with this thought and continues feeling of sadness so this is time for sought medical help along with 71 Golden Rules

See basic cause of depression is you may become obsessive with one or some thoughts and can’t able to get rid of them. So medication will do magic here and ABC’s obsessive thoughts will spread away in sometime and his or her mind will be clear to digest  71 Golden Rules to Manage Stress and Self Improvement. So what course of action for ABC? He will take medication and along with develop new thinking and in-between decrease medication slowly. Please note that it must be done only under observation of able psychologist and never ever increase or decrease medication your self.
