Definition of Stress

Stress is most common today in our society, as per study by study suggest 10% of America is Suffer from stress and numbers are increasing day by day but if you ask 10 doctors What is stress then you got 10 deferent answers. If you ask 10 people how to coping with stress then you got 10 deferent answers that’s why you are here in first place. If you want to coping with stress then first you need to know definition of stress in first place is. Each and every medical practitioner are agreed on one thing “You Cant Ignore Stress”

One simple answer is that stress is our body’s response to change. When we make change around us or changes are made automatically by reasons we can not control, our body and mind try to resist it and this resistance cause some reactions and we call them stress.

Now you wonder that what are the changes that may cause stress? Negative changes? Well you are bit wrong here because stress may be cause by positive changes also.

Stress is a normal part of everyday life, and it can be both good and bad. For instance, it can help a person survive threatening situations by preparing the body for defensive action. The resulting biological changes — a quickened pulse, sharpened senses, tensed muscles — are “fight-or-flight” responses shared by all humans. “Good” stress can also stimulate creativity, endurance, and productivity. But even though short-lived or infrequent episodes of stress can be beneficial, prolonged stress can increase the risk of personal injury or disease.
